Design Process
Our start-finish engineering/rapid prototyping service makes the process as easy and quick as possible to help you overcome the challenges that come with developing a new product. All that’s needed is for you to point out the problem and from there we will design and produce you a custom working prototype. We pride ourselves on being an incredibly personable company, whether it be producing a single prototype for an individual, or producing large quantity batches for corporations, and every client imaginable in between. Prototypes can be produced from a wide range of materials, whether you already have a material in mind or would like help in choosing the right material to meet your needs. Whether building from the ground up or offering our input on a part design already created, we are happy to help you however we can. The products displayed on our website represent only a small percentage of what we are capable of producing.
Part Design
We work with you directly to design custom solutions from scratch to meet your needs. The part design process usually starts with a consultation to discuss the prototype, from there a napkin sketch is created of the design. The expertise and tools that we have allow us to design virtually any part from scratch. Prototyping services offered go well beyond just 3D printing and CNC machining. It’s possible to combine 3D Printed/CNC machined parts with purchased parts (such as electronics) to develop a working prototype. Whether you have a part design in mind, or are starting from the ground up, we’re here to help.
CAD (Computer Aided Design)
Once a part design has been established, a part file is created using CAD software. This specialized software, combined with years of experience allows us to design virtually anything from scratch, this will be an identical virtual copy of the part which will be brought to life.
Prototyping-3D Printing & CNC
Once the CAD design is created it is then exported to 3D printers/CNC machines in order to be brought to life. Parts can be fabricated from a wide variety of materials/colors depending upon the application of the part. If requested we will even come onsite to install parts/test for fitment & function.
Revisions
Often when rapid prototyping a functional part from scratch, revisions will be required in order to get a part to fit and function precisely as desired. Any necessary changes are made to the part file within the CAD software and the revised part is then 3D printed/CNC machined again. Our years of experience and expertise allow us to minimize the amount of revision time required to deliver a high quality customized product, passing the savings on to you!
